According to the world health organization(WHO) â€Å" mental health state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community† However there are certain factors that can affect mental health and lead to poor mental health conditions.this factors can be biological,social and psychological.there are several mental health conditions like depression, bipolar affective disorder, schizophrenia and other psychoses, dementia, intellectual disabilities and developmental disorders including autism(WHO).but for the purpose of this essay I will be talking about a particular mental health condition which is schizophrenia.i will talk about possible symptoms,causes and its challenges effects on the role of social workers.
